This engine supports multi-tiered plans with benefit amounts. The engine also supports the following common product features:

• Multiple policies
• Riders - built-in or optional
• Rider bundles - broker-defined rider grouping
• Child coverage through individual policy or Child Term Rider
• Increases - the ability to change an existing policy

Refer to the underwriting offer (also known as case profile) provided by the carrier to determine exactly how the product should be configured.

Rates

Rates should be converted to the internal XML format and deployed on the server. If the rate file supports multiple sets of rates, select the desired rate set from the "Rate Structure" combo box. 

Primary Insureds

Check all relationships that are allowed to be the primary insured. If more than one relationship is selected, multiple coverages for the same plan are allowed. 

Riders

The default bundle defines riders that will be offered individually. Other bundles are offered as a single option to the user.Built-in riders are not shown on the application screen (only the confirmation screen). 

Application Screen

The application screen displays a list of sample benefit amounts to the user. The list will be of the specified length, starting from the largest benefit amount whose premium is less than or equal to the specified Max sample premium. 

Underwriting Limits

Define maximum, minimum, and Guaranteed Issue level for premium, benefit amount, and age.
