Alias Tab
The Alias tab gives you the ability to change the description for different coverage tiers, deduction frequency names, and product name per plan wherever they are displayed. These names and codes will be presented to the user on the Enrollment site.
For example, perhaps the employer refers to employees as "associates", so instead of "EO", or "Employee Only", they want to see "AO", or "Associate Only". Click the "Edit" button next to the tier name to be changed, make the change, and click "Update", and then "Save".
The example below reflects how that would be aliased:
Aliasing Product Names
You can also use the drop-down list to change the name of the product as it is displayed on the Enrollment site. Use the Product Order field to indicate the order in which the product will be displayed on the Enrollment site. First, set the Product Sort Order option on the Rates tab to Product Name, then on the Alias tab, select the Product Name in the drop-down list, and indicate the order of the products (as 1, 2, 3, etc.) in the Product Order field for each product. The Enrollment site will use this setting to determine the product order on the Enrollment site.
